Ron has incredible credentials and is an amazing teacher. I've been taking lessons on-line with him for over two years and recently attended a live workshop at his school. The training was outstanding. I highly recommend Ron.
I have been training with Ron for a little over a year now and want to leave an update to help guide others looking for a phenomenal instructor. Working with Ron has been pleasant, exciting, and encouraging. I take weekly lessons with him learning Chen 18 Forms while refining the Yang 24 Forms and Ron does a tremendous job blending new instruction with refinement. He intuitively knows how much time to spend on each based on how I'm dong and what form or posture we are working on. I think I mentioned it in my first review but Ron's constant reminder of the fact that my Tai Chi is right for where I am in my learning is refreshing and helpful. If you are interested in learning more about Tai Chi Ron is an excellent choice and I highly recommend him.
For benefit of others, I wanted to write a quick update review. I have been studying with Ron online for several months now and can say that it has been--and continues to be--a joy. I try many things and have many curiosities. Tai Chi was one of them, but under Ron's guidance, my curiosity has deepened substantially. His teaching style is warm, kind, guiding, and filled with depth and wisdom. This combination signifies to me a true master, and I highly recommend anyone interested in Tai Chi to seek his guidance.!
Great expeirence. Positive and uplifting but also detail oriented and specific. Will continue lessons for sure!
Ron’s lessons are very organized and easy to follow. He takes the time to show each step carefully.
As a new entrant to Tai Chi, it has been a great fortune to find Ron with the advent of the online platform. My curiosity extended beyond the pre-packaged video instructionals and youtube channels as I realized the sheer complexity in the seemingly simple and graceful movements is best uncovered with individualized instruction. As well, the sheer volume of information available these days has created the problem of info overload, so a dedicated master of the arts is helpful to guide and go deeper, not purely wider. Ron's energy and spirit is unmistakably sincere, wise, and powerful. His dedication, as not just a teacher and guide, but as a student himself is inspiring. I encourage others to experience for themselves and see beyond this written word!
I've been a student of Ron's for 7-8 years, both in his school and privately. He is very patient and will spend as much time as you want or need on a particular movement. Ron will always find time for his students. Lauri
Those who live close to GM Ron P. should definitely take advantage of what he teaches. He is the most knowledgeable on the subject of Internal Arts that I have met in my 56 years of study. I myself have been teaching since the very early '70s, and have seen many who could use what GM P teaches.
Very clear instructions and very experienced web based teacher for Tai Chi - very good pace and explaination moving in the room.
I've only been working with Ron for a little over a month now but he is an excellent instructor. He is very knowledgeable, detail oriented, and easy to learn from. He knows what pace of instruction works and he doesn't try to rush through anything. Also, I find it helpful how he can relate the forms to a practical martial arts use which helps me to better understand. He frequently reminds me that my Tai Chi Chuan is great for where I'm at which is a powerful reinforcement. It encourages me to continue to practice and improve daily. I recommend Ron to anyone who is ready to start learning and discover the benefits of Tai Chi Chuan.
